Industrial twist is an industrial-style fine art project showcasing the beauty of brutal industrial architecture. Over 2 years I have collected some images of industrial buildings, mills and factories from the times of the industrial revolution. I have created artworks with different compositions using these images and adding a surreal mood to them.
I put the regular old brick buildings into unusual locations/shapes.

Industrial-style fine art project in Manchester
Part of the works I have created in Manchester. The whole idea came to me because I was inspired by this brick architecture and the industrial style of the whole city. I started exploring the brick mills on the outskirts and the 19-century warehouses in the city centre and made these photo manipulations and collages during the spring of 2021.

The industrial style artworks in Berlin
The works below were made in Berlin which also has quite some interesting former brick factories. During this industrial-style fine art project I have changed my approach slightly and you can see that the works below are quite different from what I did in Manchester

These are all the works I have for now but I might add new works to this project later.
I think that photography is a way to explore the way we look at the world. I’m happy to make this research through this medium. It’s interesting how unimaginably great possibilities one has with a camera. By making up concepts for new photographs we can design new stories and even worlds where these stories are happening.
Thank you for reading. If you like the works I do, you can support me greatly by simply sharing this with friends and subscribing to my newsletter. I never send spam, I use it to send updates about new blog posts!
