I would like to share a little selection of photographs from a portrait personal branding photoshoot that I did recently in Vienna. We wanted to do it relatively simple and also natural. Since a studio environment often gives a detached polished look that does not reflect openness and approachability which is mostly valued in business, we have chosen Stadtpark for the first location of the photoshoot. With a nice and soft evening light for ambience and my portable studio lights as the main light we have done a few photos next to Wien Fluss before going to a hotel for the second part of the photoshoot.
As our main goal was to capture both personality and professionalism, I sort of interviewed and photographed at the same time, even using myself for a more lifestyle and contextual portrait. In the end, we did a few headshot portraits that might look like they were taken in a professional studio, but were actually shot in front of a plain white wall using the lights I brought with me. It gives me the greatest pleasure to be able to create so much wherever I go, without having to rely solely on a studio environment for my portrait work.
